Tributes Continue for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the couple.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, stated he only now felt able to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has gone by that I can now put my grief into words," wrote Elwes, saying that his first meeting with Reiner made him fall in love. "As we began spending more time together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded behind-the-scenes footage from the movie, adding that he doesn't recollect "one day without mirth".

"This story is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. Which is among the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I remember you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

In a distinct tribute, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved being with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the main character.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked seamlessly with the cast, and he grasped the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Withheld

This week, a Los Angeles judge agreed to bar the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A legal directive put a restriction on the cases to prohibit the public release of "any investigative information, documents, files or images" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the result of homicide, with a official listing noting the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Response and Criticism

Following the tragedy, public figures offered different comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, providing controversial remarks that were widely condemned by several individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his voice to the critics last week. Conversing on his podcast, Rogan labeled the remarks as "disturbing" and suggested they showed a worrisome lack of empathy.

Rogan ended by proposing that an adviser ought to have acted when the decision to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
